AI-LITERATE project kicks off in Poznań
From 3–5 December 2025, partners of the Erasmus+ AI-LITERATE project gathered at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań for an intensive three-day kick-off meeting, officially launching our 24-month collaboration on AI literacy and disinformation in higher education. The event brought together academics, practitioners and media literacy experts from across Europe to turn our approved proposal into a concrete action plan.
Over the course of the meeting, we aligned on governance structures, clarified roles and responsibilities, and planned the first steps for each work package. Partners discussed the design of an innovative blended learning programme that will combine a 20-hour online course with a hands-on international Bootcamp for higher education students, as well as upcoming research on how generative AI is transforming teaching, learning and disinformation dynamics on campus.
Beyond the formal sessions, the kick-off was also about building a shared vision and a strong sense of team. In-person discussions, informal exchanges and shared time in Poznań helped us connect across institutions and disciplines and set the tone for open, collaborative work in the months ahead.
This meeting marks the real start of AI-LITERATE: from now on, we move from ideas on paper to tangible outputs, pilot activities and resources for students, educators and universities. Follow AI-LITERATE for updates on our research, teaching activities, events and opportunities to get involved.
