Key outcomes include the development of a structured blended learning programme on GenAI and disinformation, innovative multimedia educational outputs created through a collaborative bootcamp, and practical guidelines for the responsible integration of AI in higher education. By fostering critical thinking, ethical awareness, and institutional readiness, AI-LITERATE empowers academic communities to engage with AI technologies responsibly and strengthens Europe’s capacity for informed and resilient higher education systems.

  • In AI-Literate Project, we conduct studies, roundtables, and online evaluations to understand how the higher education community perceives and experiences generative AI. This research explores both the opportunities and potential risks associated with the adoption of GenAI in higher education. The findings will inform educators, institutions, and policymakers about effective and responsible ways to integrate AI technologies into teaching and learning.

  • The project develops a structured blended learning programme focused on generative AI and digital disinformation. It includes a 20-hour online course combining live and on-demand learning materials, followed by a 3-day intensive bootcamp.   • During the bootcamp, participants collaborate in a Media Lab to create multimedia projects such as videos, podcasts, interactive features, and social media campaigns. These projects translate learning into practice and contribute to the AI-LITERATE educational resources. They also support the project’s communication and dissemination efforts by showcasing practical approaches to addressing AI and disinformation in education.
